The Church of God of the Apostolic Faith, Incorporated has grown out of
the Holiness movement that was started with the latter rain outpouring of
the Holy Ghost in Topeka, Kansas, in 1901. After the White Hot heat of
revival that was the direct result of this outpouring, the leaders and
ministers of this faith began to realize the necessity of the church
government. Therefore, in the year of 1914, at the Cross Roads Mission
near Ozark, Arkansas, they held their first conference and ordained their
first ministers.
