Bring Back the Young Adults and 20-Somethings

Technology on its own won’t bring 20-somethings to the Gospel, but a lack of it might keep them away.

Senior Camp Review

by COGAF News

Senior Camp included 130 Campers and 88 Workers. There were 13 salvations, 26 rededications, 41 filled with the Holy Spirit for the first time, and 19 called into the ministry. Speaker Jamie Austin did an outstanding job ministering the Word to campers at each night service. He also lead two break-out sessions; one for youth leaders and one for campers who felt a calling to ministry. The new "Worship Under the Stars" experience was described as "the perfect night". Worship Leader Bear Boyle encouraged campers to worship the Lord out a true heart out of free desire. All in all it was a very successful camp and a powerful week. Here are a few testimonies from campers:

"I've committed to reading God's Word and hiding it in my heart.  I've struggled a long time with sharing my faith and witnessing. This year at camp I realized what the real problem was. I don't know God's word so how am I suppose to share it...I feel stronger and am ready to spread the good news."

"I have had the best time at camp with all the beautiful people here at camp. I wish I could stay here forever...people have showed me love and peace."

"I feel more free than I ever have before."
