The Empowering Tour

Recognizing the need to provide equipment, training, and resources to those who work with youth in the local church, the COGAF Youth Department will release the "Empowering Tour" this Fall. This one-day event will be targeted towards youth pastors/leaders, children's church pastors/leaders, youth workers, worship leaders, pastors, and others who actively work with youth in your church. This FREE event is designed to place some highly impacting tools in the hands of your church youth staff. Join church leaders from various COGAF churches for incredible keynote sessions and the hands-on training of working with youth. We hope you will be part of this inspiring event to help grow your youth programs, sustain growth, get encouragement, and just get some new resources. Look for "The Empowering Tour" coming to a church near you.

Webb City Church of God Has Local Youth BASH

"New Beginnings" was the theme of the Youth BASH for the Webb City Church of God youth outreach event on Saturday, August 16th. The BASH was held in the Shidler Park in the middle of Shidler, OK, a nearby town approximately 5 miles from Webb City, OK. Sounds of inspirational speaking and worship resounded across the town of Shidler while young people and adults who attended were encouraged to start the school year off right. Rev. Jack Richey spoke at the event and Rev. Kevin Vogele led worship. Webb City Church of God has recently had a change in their youth leadership. Ms. Becky Thomas is currently leading the youth and doing a very encouraging job with her ministry at Webb City.
