OCTOBER IS PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH!

Pastor Appreciation Month is a special time that congregations set aside each year to honor their pastors and pastoral families for the hard work, sacrificial dedication and multiple blessings provided by these special people. It is typically scheduled in October, but can be held at any time that is convenient for the church and the community. It is also important to remember that appreciation, affirmation and prayer support of our spiritual leaders is appropriate throughout the entire year. (more)

Fall Work Week Complete

The 2008 COGAF Fall Work Week, under the direction of Pastor Jackie Vogele, has been completed. Thank you to all those who participated in this event at the COGAF campgrounds. General upkeep and repairs were done on all the facilities in preparation for winter. As far as landscaping, fallen timber was cleared from the grounds in many areas. In the Tabernacle, the old brown chairs were moved out to make way for the new blue chairs. All these efforts keep our campgrounds looking beautiful. Consider joining us for Spring Work Week next year. It's a great time of fellowship and service. The dates for Spring Work Week will be announced later.

FREE Web Design

Yes, it's really FREE. Just last week the Board of Presbyters approved the new leg of COGAF Web Design to provide FREE websites to all COGAF affiliated churches. As cost has been an obstacle in the past for some churches, COGAF Web Design is helping to make it completely possible for churches to get their church information on the web. With COGAF Web Design's FREE service each church will receive four customized web pages. For more information click here.
